People like Comrades Dan Hodges and Paul Mason will be delighted.
More widely we have led ourselves into this by lazy overreliance on internet shopping, internet TV, internet communications (notwithstanding the benefit of this forum) and a narcissistic addiction to social media and a commensurate cancelling out of the very freedoms and riches we thought the ability to communicate online wth every corner of the world would bring us.
Hopefully YouTube has shot itself in the foot with this move, like the BBC did with it's Last Night of the Proms...
Looks as though it's being reported in all the main-stream channels and hopefully raises red flags for a few more citizens.
Well, I for one, have removed Youtube from my phone and may perhaps reinstall it depending on the outcome.
As I don't have Facebook or Twitter it's a bit like going back to a better time.
Its a huge step...
They're fully regulated as a broadcaster by OfCOM who have no cause for concern or complaints.
So Google/YT are deciding the views of the UK regulator itself aren't valid if it conflicts with the message they want to give.
Big tech has now decided it knows better and is bigger than the national regulator.
Talk Radio isnt some batshit David Icke type station, it uses official government figures and proper interviews to challenge the speakers. Robust discussion.
Its about as far as you're going to get for a media outlet.
Vernon coleman the old man in a chair has videos banned and he has been heavily censored. He moved to brand new you tube. He was hard to find at first but found him I did..I hope talk radio find another platform. Like us all they need to be determined to get their voices heard. They must be a big threat to the government and they cant have that. It's like speakers corner is now heavily guarded with police.... ❓
