Have some of the writers/producers of Coronation Street been putting out subliminal messages?

A week or two ago there was a big sign on the bar in the speed daal restaurant saying "let's try something different". It was meant to be an advert for food but the potential for double meaning is clear.

Then there was Peter and Carla discussing whether Peter should go into hospital for alcoholism before concluding that "there won't be any beds".

Then the other night a discussion in the cafe went something like "hope... we could all do with some of that". "If only you could bottle it" "I'm sure if you could some pharmaceutical company would be making millions" 😯

They don't seem to have really addressed it much (apparently Manchester has only ever been in a max of tier 2)

Might be reading too much into things - but worth keeping an eye on anybody that watches it.
