Governments in the UK and pretty much all over the world have got themselves into a lovely rut (which they thoroughly enjoy!) ruling by decree. They snap their fingers, and the "law" changes. It's ridiculous.
Wherever you live on this planet, it seems like your constitution, whether written or unwritten, is about as much good to you as a wet roll of toilet paper on the floor of a festival portaloo.
There is such a thing as society, dear ones, and if my society is going to decide to live in lockdown, I jolly well want us to decide so in a proper, rational, deliberative, and democratic way. Not by Joris Bohnson or Nicola Salmon spitting with the wind and that's that.
I just see no legitimacy to what's going on. What was all that about democracy we were taught to believe in? Our inheritance? Sweet little pretense that was!

I agree. I am wondering how it will all play out.
My thoughts are of they are so intent on saving the nation from the deadly rona with their magic vaccine what sort of living are they saving us for. I dont believe things will ever go back to the lives we had before this crap so what sort of life are they saving us for. They have crushed the economy the pubs airlines the hospitality industry ruined childrens education adult education sports cinemas the arts shopping now it seems a goal of the nation abstaining from alcohol consumption ( heading that way) religious worship freedom of speech and so on ..after their goal of vaccinating the nation what then?to emerge into lifelong debt for the generations to come..nothing left that gives any pleasure..human contact and human misery..let us out of our prisons? Into what sort of world do they expect us to live in..work ..take outs and Netflix oh yes whilst shopping on amazon..is this to be our wonderful world..if it's the great reset what life is that meant to be..will there be fun and laughter again or just misery and endless toil for survival..who gains from this world..it certainly wouldn't be the majority of the population..all these sheep who think we will just do this and then..what's the then going to be?
