Over the past couple of months, I've noticed that with the pavements being damp, a lot of 'social distancing' pavement stickers are starting to peel off. For safety reasons it is preferable that they be peeled off altogether, so that no one trips on them and then disposed of in the nearest litter bin.

Given that numerous shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants are now closed indefinitely, the supposed 'need' for these stickers is now redundant, so as a good way to improve our town and city centres, to help return to normality, it would be a good idea to have a sticker removal blitz over the next few months.

Great idea! Nobody talks about the plastic pollution epidemic in relation to this situation

And it doesn't need to be a conspicuous organised group effort, anyone can just discreetly peel off and dispose of one or two whilst out for a constitutional walk.

And some people remove my lockdownsceptics stickers, although I very much doubt if it is due to environmental concern.
