This as you probably know will be debated on Dec 14

Here's the link if you don't have it already:
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/323442

Here's the text of my letter, feel free to use such bits as you find helpful:

I have voted for you in two general elections in the past and have been aware of the support you have provided for my community.

You will be aware that on December 14th the Government will debate the following petition, which at the time of writing had gained 305,859 signatures:

"I want the Government to prevent any restrictions being placed on those who refuse to have any potential Covid-19 vaccine. This includes restrictions on travel, social events, such as concerts or sports. No restrictions whatsoever."

I quote from the Government’s response to date:

There are currently no plans to introduce a Covid-19 vaccine in a way that penalises those who do not take up the vaccine. However, the Government will carefully consider all options to improve vaccination rates, should that be necessary.

This is a significant piece of wording that makes it clear the Government is not ruling out mandatory or coercive vaccination. I myself have been vaccinated a number of times for travel purposes and I was living in China at the outbreak of the pandemic. I have lost my job as a result of it. I contend that it is difficult to be more aware of the risks associated with the pandemic than I am.

Nevertheless, I am deeply alarmed by the prospect of a mandatory or coercive vaccine. There can be no more fundamental attack on human existential liberties than being forced to submit to an invasive medical procedure. The implications of this for future compulsory or coercive medical procedures in the name of public health cannot be overstated. Further, it cannot reasonably be claimed that in less than nine months a vaccine for an unprecedented and unpredictable virus can be successfully developed with sufficiently rigorous tests to asses short and long-term health risks. You will be familiar with the worldwide Thalidomide tragedy of the late 1950s and early 60s. I contend that this is sufficient reason to consider the COVID-19 vaccine as de facto experimental.

I respectfully draw your attention to the following extract from the Nuremberg Code, drawn up in 1947, with regard to medical experimentation following the Second World War:

"The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential."

You may feel that the seriousness of the situation justifies such measures as are now being debated. I do not think it expedient in this letter to do any more than refer you to the enormous volume of highly respectable and informed medical and epidemiological opinion that is freely available openly challenging the notion that we are facing an unprecedented health risk only capable of being mitigated by the most extreme measures, which in all honesty have been demonstrably unsuccessful.

I respectfully call upon you as my representative in Parliament, firstly, to take an active role in this debate. I feel that abstention would not be a justifiable position to take.

Secondly, to vigorously represent the concerns of constituents such as myself that forced or coercive invasive medical procedures, especially of an experimental nature with no recourse in law for damage or death resulting therefrom, are unacceptable elements of healthcare and must not be allowed to enter the reasoning of government. Any development along these lines must be stopped immediately and desisted with in future.

Thirdly, to vigorously demand that attempts by airlines, hospitality venues, public transport companies either private or public, employers, private and public, banks, insurance companies, mortgage lenders, educational institutions, healthcare providers and any other body or institution providing a service or contributing to the fabric of society, if subject to British law, be prohibited now and at any time in the future from demanding evidence of vaccination as a condition of service or patronage.

It is essential that the public are empowered to make informed choices and act without fear of losing their ability to take part in society.

I will await your response either by return email or relevant editions of Hansard. I am bound to add that if such response does not meet the above criteria, I will be unable to vote for you in the future.

Thank you for your hard work in representing our community to date.

You'r welcome. One thing I can't help being worried about is that fact that as far as I know,no other nation is in quite such a hurry to rush out this preposterous vaccine as the UK seems to be. This coupled with the fact we are an island and can be sealed off from the world much more easily than we could if landlocked, makes me paranoid with the idea that if it's a disaster, we will be left isolated. It feels like a control experiment. Then again, what do I know?

In the UK Government's attempts to be world-beating, they always succeed in being world-baffling.

If the Government were to enforce vaccination, then some proof of that would be required. They say they are not going to do this. However, the 'vaccination card', a copy of which I posted in this thread https://forums.lockdownsceptics.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1332 , looks more like an vaccination ID card or passport than an appointment reminder.

I did hesitate about posting it, but I reasoned thus: if it were just a reminder card, then there would be no harm in making duplicates available, but if it were planned to become a proof of vaccination - an ID card - then I might become liable. In the latter case, the Government would have to admit to plans to introduce cards for such a purpose.

There's going to be a protest outside the Houses of Parliament on Monday when debated. See: https://thewhiterose.uk/2020/12/10/london-protest-houses-of-parliament/
