Podcasting means uploading an audio file to a website, right?
Yeah, why not. Personally I don't consume news audio or video on the web - I just read a few newsy pages and listen to (since the onset of fascism) ever diminishing amounts of radio - but other people's mileage may vary, so go for it! Just be sure to make your audio files easy to download, because cool kids don't stream.

I'm glad you've started episodes again.
I listen on iTunes - I enjoy the light hearted banter, and especially the effort you out into the interstitial music breaks..
