informative article on the bbc describing vaccine misinformation and how it is spread
they ought to know
Standard one sided article there.
States myocarditis is rare, failed to provide the actual figures.
Sates risk of long covid is higher - fails to provide figures which isnt a shock given thats demonstrably NOT true.
"Most cases of myocarditis after vaccination were resolved quickly following treatment. "
Except those which didn't resolve quickly. Or in fact at all.
Standard BBC really, makes claims whilst never once actually including any reference to the raw data hoping people won't actually check.
Sounds like excellent work. And it's old news too.
Here's something on this story that's truly revealing: the "tweet" by Andy Byers, head of the Framdurwell state secondary school, quoted in the Independent a fortnight ago:
"Anti-V**xers sending hoax emails to schools purporting to be from
@NHSEnglandMedia and asking us to distribute to all parents…haven’t we got enough to worry about? It’s pretty clear, if you don’t want your child to have the vaccine, fine. The rest has got nothing to do with you"
Why shouldn't parents consider issues such as whether or not to oppose the state's policy of encouraging the vaccination of their children? Why shouldn't they talk to each other? The question may be above a headmaster's pay grade, but hey, it's not "above" the responsibility of parents, or indeed the rest of us.
Does he really think we are so powerful?
Guys like him despise self-education, which is to say education, with a vengeance.
"Does he really think we are so powerful?"
... Or as Bertolt Brecht put it in "Pavel's Prison Song":
They’ve got all their law books and their regulations,
They’ve got all their prisons and fortresses.
All their welfare institutions don’t really count.
They’ve got all their prison guards and judges
Who are overpaid and far too keen to oblige them
Well why’s that then?
Do they really think they will wear us down with all that? Before they vanish, and that will be soon,
They will surely notice
That all that cannot help them any more.
All that cannot help them any moreThey’ve got their newspapers and printing presses
With which to attack us and silence our voices.
All their statesmen we don’t need to count.
They’ve got their parsons and their professors
Who are overpaid and far too keen to oblige them
Well why’s that then?
Is it because the truth’s so frightening? Before they vanish, and that will be soon,
They will surely notice
That all that cannot help them any more.
All that cannot help them any moreThey’ve got their tanks and their cannons,
Their policemen and their soldiers.
Well why’s that then?
Is it because their enemy’s so powerful? They think they must find some support soon
To halt their imminent fall.
One fine day, though, and that will be soon,
They’ll come to see that that’s not good to them at all.
They can shout out and oh they won’t stop now –
Neither money nor cannon will answer their call.
They can shout out and oh they won’t stop now –
Neither money nor cannon will answer their call.
