I've never seen a situation in the UK when the only opposition to the government came from its own MPs whereas HM official opposition just supported everything.

I read bad things about China, but then I read about them using gene editing to improve IQ and strength to make "super soldiers". Where is the logic to the "build back better" in the west? It's more like "make a third world country and hope it doesn't get invaded".

I have a friend who is a prospective Labour candidate for a South London seat. He tells me the grass roots of the Labour Party is absolutely dismayed with Starmer's stance. How on earth does lockdown benefit any working class person, it just impoverishes them even further than already the case.
