Then why are they looking at making outdoor wearing of masks mandatory?a sign of oppression or a sign of health benefit...

The point of wearing a mark indoors is to not infect other people. (reduces risk by about a factor of 3) Not as good as 2m distance ( about a factor of 30), so not a substitute for distance.
It would be cheaper and more effective if whoever deems themself vulnerable would wear two masks and let everyone else live normally, developing resistance and immunity that would otherwise be impeded.
In any case, a policy of face-covering (for that is what is legally required, not masks) is meaningless in any situation without specifying a standard of construction and of usage.
Masks outside, is functionally of negligible benefit. But symbolically it reinforces that something is wrong and may steer people to be more wary.
Yes, it reinforces that idea - whether it is a correct idea or not. It would appear to have had an effect on you. I don't find that a good recommendation.

Well identified Mia.
Right from the very start I always believed masks were about forcing submission and compliance from the populace rather than anything at all to do with the prevention of virus transmission.
Here again if we look at history masks have been used time and again against prisoners and slaves as an additional form of stripping humanity from those individuals, exactly the same reason they are being used now. Masks were made mandatory just to force submission to the oppressive regime, just like Jews in Nazi Germany were forced to display a yellow Star of David, this is abuse on the same level.

Let's come up with a symbol/phrase we can all easily apply to a mask, and through social media make it so everyone will know exactly what it means... we do not agree, we are being forced and you can shove it! Wouldn't it be great to see all those people who are apparently "happily complying" actually giving the establishment the finger. Hopefully it would become so big, even the bulls**t mainstream media couldn't avoid it.

I still have no idea how this would happen. It's a 3D problem - just because forward transmission might be more restricted, the air and water vapour goes somewhere. In an indoor environment this is circulated - so I see no good scientific reason why masks would work in an indoor environment (you'd need a proper face seal and filter to filter all in/out air to make any difference)

The average human loses 500ml of water a day by breathing. This is just over 40ml in 2 hours. You'd have to be wearing something like a pampers on your face to collect 40ml in 2 hours.

Whilst there are differences between vaping and breathing this video illustrates the point rather nicely
