We are all in this together. Well not really, those on a State occupational pension have not lost a penny so far. If NHS staff & teachers get a pay rise pensioners will too. As in my circle it seems pensioners, and particularly those with a state occupational pension are the most zealous lockdown fanatics it should be their duty to take a massive pay cut to help pay for all this. I suggest a 30% cut in their pensions is a just and fair response.

Steady on old chap! I am a pensioner and a staunch anti-lockdowner!
Although not personally affected by the shenanigans around covid-19, I am motivated to reduce stress, anxiety, suffering and their root cause - i.e. ignorance. That cause does not reside exclusively in pensioners.
Now I need my afternoon nap.
