Thanks chocolate Malteser and yes I cancelled my license years ago and thought many more would follow suit though I suspect they have but they will keep that quiet.

Miahoneybee. There's a lot of interesting alternative analysis on the internet, not all behind pay walls. The daily round up on LS blog is a starting point for sceptic/free speech stuff. Unheard and Spiked online are two of my favourites

Yep. Because it's always been about protecting R NHS.

And this is why I think that when they get some random medic on the radio or idiot box about how they're run off their feet or posting selfies of them with PPE face or suchlike, at least in the UK, I honestly feel like they're crying wolf. If the media is to be believed R NHS is always in crisis every winter.
