It is not a profound point but can you trust them in any way? Surely the whole strategies that the state has pursued disabuse one of any sense that they have anyone's best interests at heart. Has it been dealt with as a public health crisis? To me, the whole of the management of this has manifest manipulation and underlying intentions have been only too apparent from the beginning. If it had been dealt with as a crisis affecting the political body then surely communal and public forms should have been respected and some gesture made to sustain our forms of life with some leniency and adaptability. This has not characterised the response. Many on here have more or less predicted where we were going because the inherent logic is manifest by the manner of the key actors. I had contact with a professor of Microbiology who sent me a discussion of the virus and the vaccines. He says the vaccines themselves are riddled in evasion and dishonesty and are ineffective and unsafe.
I do not, personally, think you can trust any of these institutional agents and I would merely make my decision based on that. If you do not have the virus, why take the vaccine? Until they allow us to mix socially, I have no risk.
The reason the lockdown is there is to create the necessity of the vaccine. There are simply too many agendas in play and the situation is too complex to elicit trust. I do not perceive a significant threat. I do not see any institutional agents acting with sincerity. I do not believe any of those involved as acting honourably or as having a magnanimous bone in their bodies. As they have removed many from any social presence in relation to the cultural institutions of our society, I think it is time to withdraw from the state, see it for what it is and have mass non-compliance. The state has pursued policies that render us passive, let them reap what they have sowed. I simply do not think you can trust any of the institutional agencies involved, nothing about how any of it has been managed has ever seemed to manifest concern and in life one criteria to dictate behaviour is judge motive and I think this is an important aspect of this. Irrespective of the discussions of the nature of the vaccines, the nature of the virus, given the way threat has been exaggerated, alternative treatments ignored, and the corruption of those involved, I don't think you can trust them. They have established a new kind of social order and it is clear that they are going to continue this indefinitely. We don't have a lot of power and since the state has attempted to remove our liberties and possibilities for action so completely, in an attempt to make necessary, if not inevitable, a particular avenue as the only rational conduct, it seems to me we may as well refuse that.

Sort of related - leaked by telegraph.

Change in the law to make vaccination for care workers *mandatory*.

What a great way to drive out even more people from a sector that's already underpaid and chronically understaffed.

Will be interesting with legal issues the first time one of those people suffers a rare adverse reaction they (i) didnt want but (ii) was forced by law to have.

Boris is on about Europes "3rd wave" now.

So looks like even if someone coughs 1000 miles away, we still remained locked down.

Yet again he's going for the zero covid absolute insanity.

He is not going for zero covid. They are stalling for time.

They need to give Govey time to get the vaxx passes ready for launch. If they release the proles now they have blown the only leverage they will have to make the masses accept the vaxx passes. Am I the only one who thinks this is now obvious?

The review of vaxx passes is due to report back June 21st. This means they must stall easing of lockdown for another 12 weeks to get as much of the population vaxxed as they can using "freedom" as the carrot. While at the same time getting the infrastructure and legislation in place for the vaxx passes.

The Government is stalling for time that is what is happening now. Restrictions MUST remain until they are ready to roll out the vaxx passes.

Exactly. The only purpose for lockdowns has been to get on their plans while the nations sleep..some are awake and know what's coming..some are waking..some never will and those who wake later will find it's too late..
All this bullshit has been about is a smokescreen.
I agree no point looking at how illogical it has been and is..look beyond and behind the scenes planning..
