My wife and I are non maskers and have had no issues from the start. When going into shops have been asked if I needed a mask a couple of times but just say I'm exempt and that's it.
Had an interesting conversation with my neighbour the other day she is a sceptic as well but still wears a mask.. Asked her why and she said she wasn't confident enough to say shes exempt. Told her to try it next time and just see what happens.

I always thought the NHS was there to protect ME not the other way around - thats why i pay for it.
If i have to save IT instead of the opposite, why should i bother funding it as its clearly not fit for purpose?

Also, we employ MPs and should tell them what to do, not vice-versa.

I just try to act like I normally would in shops - I don't pretend to be exempt or wear a lanyard. Today I wore my buff around my neck, talisman-style, when my brother-in-law took me to Tesco.

He forgot his mask and went back to the car to get it. I just went into the shop. On the way home in the car, he spent the whole time grumbling about a young couple he'd spotted who weren't wearing masks, then expanded on the theme with complaints about people going into the place where he works without masks, despite the big sign on the door.

He seemed to have entirely failed to notice me not wearing one. 😀

Never worn one the whole pandemic won't ever be wearing one, even when I get on a plane in 4 weeks. Have made a sellotape laminated print off of the badge on the govt website saying exempt if asked but rarely carry it.

Very rarely challenged, just say I'm exempt have never been asked anything further.
Even when I went to a hospital with a series of appointments.
Had antibody test back in June before masks were even mandatory and had them after 10 days of bad man flu symptoms, no risk to anyone.

I really wish others would do this. Its incredibly rare to see anyone unmasked, not even 1 in 100.
If everyone stood up for themselves or really worked out the true odds of them going to the shops and killing themselves or granny they might understand!

As the Denmark study showed, masks dont work.
As others have pointed out most people I see touch their masks many times every minute with their hands then touch the produce in shops with their hands thereby transferring bacteria. I really wouldn't be surprised if masks SPREAD virus. I mean even the charts like up with this possibility!!

I’ve never worn a mask and never will. I use a lanyard and have only been challenged once. That was on a train and my scarf was covering the lanyard. As soon as I showed it, it was akin to showing a vampire a crucifix. Hilarious that a piece of paper printed off a website at home can make the difference between a normal journey and potentially being arrested. My Dad wears a lanyard too. My Mum is too intimidated. She also insists on reading the BBC website and can’t bring her to convince it’s BS propaganda, no matter how much objective evidence I show her.

I think there’s a big psychological barrier in play across the country. If people accept that they’re being lied to by the state and the press and that the police are now a state militia, rather than a dedicated government protecting them with rules to keep them safe and the police protecting them from nasty selfish people, their world will come crashing down. It’s a red pill/blue pill situation.
