I have been studying the ONS interactive Covid deaths map as available here:
Its based on population estimates for each area and that data can be found here:
The population figures are from Mid 2019 so likely higher in reality as of Jan 2021.
The data covers from March to November (10 months). Looking at central Harrogate 015 (where I live), there have been 25 COVID deaths over 10 months in a population of 9,775, that's 0.255% of that population that died.This is insanely low, I mean insanely low. Its mostly the same story for every other location I have looked at on the map. Knaresborogh has a pop of 6,397 and has had 5 people die from COVID in 10 months, that's 0.078%. And we have a Nightingale hospital Guess how many people died in central Harrogate from COVID since August to November? Zero, nobody......I'm not getting the point of lock down or all the hysteria at all...
