What is the general consensus of opinion re vaccines being made mandatory? I know someone who works in the NHS who thinks it's unlikely as there really would be pushback from the public over that. But others are convinced that's the end goal. I don't like to be pessimistic but there's been so many dangerous precedents lately that nothing would surprise me anymore. I was at a meeting recently, with a local government official who said as an individual you have a right to threaten your doctor or whoever is giving the vaccination against your will with a CRIMINAL procedure (ie not a civil case) that if now or anytime in the future you suffer ill effects. The case would be taken up against the individual concerned and not the government or pharmaceutical company and this is a crucial difference. If you are able to avoid being vaccinated against your will, will there be penalties eg passport withdrawal, no access to healthcare? I got a response back from such a petition I signed saying there wouldn't be any penalties but with an insidious clause that says they reserve the right to reconsider as new evidence may arise thus negating their good words. 😳
I don't think they'd make vaccination mandatory, but they might do something along the lines of a cattery requiring a certificate before they'll take your moggy for the hols - excluding non-vaccinated people from specific places/events.
I'd never have thought like this a year ago, but now I'm sure the government won't hesitate to trample on our rights and civil liberties in any way it can.

Have a look at this thread re removal of licensing requirements for covid-19 vaccines:

Surprisingly, not many people here seemed alarmed by it.
I am quiet sure they will not make them mandatory, but they will make it pretty difficult for people who refuse. No travel, no healthcare and that's the tip of the iceberg. No school, no gym or any other establishment access, no dentist, no place to rent (officially), no benefits, no work eventually. That's why they are destroying bussinesses. Because they want all people be dependent on the government as much as possible. If you would have your own business and still earning, that means you can take care for yourself and thus you can refuse their vaccine.
