Hospital admissions for those with a positive test (either on arrival or in hospital diagnosis) has fallen in the last day reported. With most of the small decline seen in London. While too early to suggest the worse is over in the capital.

Feel free to suggest it, the virus at last is giving up its grip, I think and hope. It was a big and sudden powerful surge in dec and jan, as if the thing was alive and angry. I'm confident, it's peaking in Wales too.

"Lots" of restrictions does nothing at all if you constantly ignore the areas that are the main driver of transmission.

The people we elected to run Britain are desperate to do something, they urgently need to relax restrictions by spring, and by "doing something" they think they are bringing that time closer there are very few more things they can do, ban church, ban nurseries... they are running out of big ticket items, wear masks at work, don't bubble up.It's all small beer. It's good to see since it shows how desperate they are to conclude this...
