Well, a bit of fallibility from the Pope this morning.

Here is Il Papa, quoted in the Guardian, saying that Government has no choice but to impose these edicts, and people who them don't care about social justice:

'Some groups protested, refusing to keep their distance, marching against travel restrictions – as if measures that governments must impose for the good of their people constitute some kind of political assault on autonomy or personal freedom. ... You’ll never find such people protesting the death of George Floyd, or joining a demonstration because there are shantytowns where children lack water or education, or because there are whole families who have lost their income. ... On such matters they would never protest; they are incapable of moving outside of their own little world of interests.'

Whoa, Francesco! Judge not, lest ye be judged!

It is entirely possible and consistent to oppose social injustice (e.g. racist police brutality) and also to oppose lockdown. The state is not being a hero when it criminalises normal life and punishing the innocent. Lockdown is a social injustice. Good intentions are not an excuse, not a cover, for injustice.

LOCKDOWN IS A SOCIAL INJUSTICE.

Given the track record of the msm . I dont believe half of the rubbish they print. The article seems more about promoting the cause of blm ( anything to keep that reported) .. I will try and research furthur to see if this is the popes words..I hope not..
