Here's an idea of something I wrote previously, before the previous lockdown vote - though please adapt accordingly, a personal letter from the heart will undoubtedly be more effective.
Dear Useless Labour MP, [*obv. I'm paraphrasing!]
As an active constituent, I was disappointed to see that you did not show any opposition to the crippling recent Lockdown measures. Now, we have been threatened with even more devastating measures that will, without a shadow of a doubt, cost thousands more lives than the >25,000 excess deaths that have occurred in homes the last few months (per. ONS). Changing the names of various 'lockdown' measures make no mistake, is fooling absolutely nobody. The decision to lock down is apparently being made on the basis of positive swab results being mislabelled as ‘cases’... yet to this day various NHS trusts and PHE on their websites DO NOT accept a positive swab alone constitutes their definition of a “case.”
For further confirmation, here is one of the Government's testing partners, & what they have to say about the testing: Innova Test: (Instructions for Use) intended for use in individuals “within the first 5 days of the onset of symptoms.”
The false and continued misuse of what constitutes “cases” is either an absolutely monumental mistake of epic proportions, or is literally perpetrating a fraud. It would be beyond unconscionable for you to vote for further crippling measures on this basis.
Please be assured, your constituents will absolutely remember the next time you stand by a banner 'For the many, not the few' if you continue to treat them with complete contempt whilst assisting in causing damage that will cause misery, poverty, homelessness, crippling mental health problems, and have consequences that will be irrevocable for years, probably entire generations....
I have sent my useless mp a 5th letter.
Not sure she can read as no reply from any of them yet.
It says if you dont hear by 2 weeks phone to chase it or make an appointment at the surgery.
Good luck with that .
Its laughable
🙄 🙄
Is there anything stopping each of us from sending this to every MP across the country, rather than just our local one? You could even act as if said MP is your local one and mention that you live on a random street within their consituency (thanks Google Maps) so it sound convincing. Just a thought.
My MP filters out any email from people outside the constituency. If you don't put your name, address on the email it is not forwarded to the mailbox (allegedly).
Mmm interesting to know that. I have gone through the government website to find my mps details and just written the email but never heard back.
I will make a note of that.
😀
