Whoops... It's a 'News@9' daily update from 17th July. The relevant excerpt is: "Colleagues will need to wear a face covering if they're on the shop floor while stores are open."
LBC Radio has a regular legal hour phone in with lawyer, barrister Daniel Barnett.
LBC have recently changed their schedules, this week its 9-10pm Saturday.
Daniel Barnett deals with English employment law and other consumer issues and is extremely good.
He has a Twitter profile and I believe other social media contact points.

This is all true, he is very good, however a note of caution. I have gone off Daniel Barnett a bit recently because he is so ultra-enthusiastic about unconscious bias training. I don't know what his take is on Covid, but I do know that he chose to work from home very early on in the 'pandemic' (before lockdown IIRC) so he may not be too sympathetic. Worth factoring in.
I would advise you to keep it rather simple.
If you accepted your faith, took the mask and started to wear it, call your doctor and ask for a phone appointment. When you doctor will call you ask him or her for exemption from wearing a face mask. Your doctor going to ask you for a reason. Again keep it simple, say that it irritates skin on your face and you can't stop scratching yourself. This is on it's own enough to be exempted. Your doctor will advise you to stop wearing it and will tell you, that there are no certificates or doctors letters regarding this exemption, and also will advise you everytime you're being challenged just politely reply that you are exempted.
And now you rerurn to your employer with explanation that you are exempted by your doctor. If you will be made redundant, you can file a lawsuit against your employer for discrimination grounds.
Also I would suggest to rest of your colleagues to do the same as wearing it causes health issues!
