I would agree with your short post huxleypiggles 😆 😆 😆 😡 😆

Sadly ( I know of a few) some people have woken a bit late and regretted the quick decision to roll up their sleeve for the jab..the realisation of having been conned has hit like a ton of bricks..

😥

I could metaphorically slap Andrew Neil with a wet haddock when on Spectator TV he keeps referring to the vaccine hesitant as anti-vaxxers, but I'll smile serenely and let the the barb sail past my ear. Let those who wish to take it do so- they can make up the numbers and the rest of us left alone.

They were talking about Poles resident in the UK, and how they are resisting vaccination because they tend to be mistrustful of government's, given their history. The problem was seen to be that they do not watch UK news, and an education campaign is needed to reassure them.

Of course my view is thank God for Poles and long may their cynicism safeguard them against opportunistic authority.
I sense a deep selfishness in the anxiety of the jabbers; they are afraid of those of us who choose to build up and 'train' our own innate immunity because they have swallowed the kool-aid and think we're a danger to them when in fact, they are more of a threat to us.

Today I have deflected a text message asking me to make an appt for my vaccine (#2 attempt) and someone from the blood donor service wanting me to resume donating (not til they stop requiring that masks be worn; a year ago the policy was that donors be unmasked so the donor carers could see if your lips were losing colour and you might faint - if the science has done a complete volte face on this, what other aspects of care are subject to politics rather than patient welfare? No answer needed...)
Two people known to me have been quite poorly after the AZ - reason enough in my eyes to refuse the jab, even without the other risks. I watched Geet Van Der Bossche and don't know how likely are his apocalyptic predictions to be realised; he has divided the room. I will simply refuse the prick and keep quiet about it, knowing I do not have a potential ticking time-bomb entering my cells. I don't need to travel, but 3cheers for Tui who are not going to insist that their customers have the prick. I'm self-employed so don't need to answer to a boss - but I will keep resisting the lunacy and hope that my luddite tendency will gum up the workings of the system when they have to go analogue with me.

I think you're right, Miahoneybee. I think an awful lot of people will have to go through the stages of the grieving process once that realisation sets in - but at least they'll be able to do that grieving at the pub with their mates to comfort them... hopefully!

The alarm bells have been ringing and nobody has listened.

Resistance is not futile. It comes in many forms which take time to galvanise. Those masquerading as ‘Government’ had first mover advantage and yes, they’ve been effective with this. However, I firmly believe that as long as one person is willing to say ‘No’ then all is not lost. Think ‘Tank Man’ at Tiananmen Square. By default, whether it’s via the Great Eugenics Reset or 77 numpties posting on LS for a laugh, ‘The Government’ are creating the very disent and resistance they intrinsically fear which will reach a tipping point and galvanise.

The resistance is here and real - even if not so visible. London police have cracked down on protests so much, that it is near impossible to organise anything big in the capitol.
But there is resistance and always will be! It's working from underneath, like a sourdough starter in the dough - it is small but has the power to ferment the entire dough. So, even if we're a small minority, the resistance is a strong force. NEVER, EVER GIVE UP THE FIGHT for FREEDOM, TRUTH and JUSTICE!
