Hi everyone.
We have a little north east group going and at our last meet I suggested an idea to widen the meet.
This may not work ..happen or be possible but it's worth a shot.
There are so many people wanting meets and are scattered around in small groups and in wondered how many people would travel for a bigger group meet?.
I know the b n b in wales was mentioned but for many people up north this was not practical but if there was a half way meeting point with the same idea in the north the groups( and individuals who have not managed meets ) might be able to accidentally meet at a chosen venue?
There have been people posting from Manchester..Sheffield..york..yorkshire ect and it's just an idea at the minute but there might be somewhere in the sticks that rent cottages log cabins or something self catering. I really dont know if things are open at all in the hospitality industry but I dont fancy a stifling covid mad hotel but somewhere for nice walks ect..I know a few people have mentioned the lake district and Carlisle but it needs to be away from the madness going on where people can relax.
Some people might be prepared to travel longer distances sharing transport with other sceptics.
I really dont know under the ridiculous tier systems if this means you have to break up the journey under a blanket or in the boot of a car to get from a to b 😀 and it might prove to be difficult to organise but I said it's worth a shot.
If you can work it out please pm me anyway with any of your own suggestions and ideas if you think it could work.
