Vaccine protection takes 2-3 weeks to kick in at all after dose 1 and 2 weeks after dose 2 for the maximum protection for the Pfizer jab they're using.
...
What is clearly decreasing are new daily cases and the tell tale sign the vaccination is helping that rather than just lockdown is the decrease is fastest in the over 60s (first vaccinated group).

There has not really been a decrease in cases since the beginning of january:

Granted, the cases have declined since the peak in mid january...but so has the number of tests. The rate of positive tests is as high as ever:

So is the number of new admissions to the hospital, a much more current key figure than the number of patient in the ICU

It has been two weeks now since most of the high risks groups received their second injection. A few days ago, the government has proclaimed that the vaccine is extremely effective in high risk groups, supposedley from day one after the second injection: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jan/31/israel-covid-vaccination-data-offers-hope-exit-pandemic

There should be a significant effect in the population by now. But there isn't any...

It has been mentioned in a few places (e.g. ukcolumn.org who interviewed an NHS guy) that the Pfizer-Biontec jab depresses the immune system for the first week. There are reports of deaths among elderly recipients soon after this vaccine as they become particularly vulnerable. It seems that a week's quarantine is necessary for them. The vaccine does not kill them but exposes them.

In Germany there have been several nursings homes with Covid outbreaks after the first injection with more than 10 deaths.....which is far above the average death toll after an outbreak.

Here two examples:

Nursing Home 1 (13 deaths):

Nursing Home 2 (19 deaths):

Its way way too soon to see a big reduction in hospitals or cases given the time lag between vaccination and the way its rolled out.

The fact under 60s admissions and cases are dropping FAR faster than the rest is a sign its working.

You can find isolated cases, which if true could support your opinion, but is meaningless unless you look wider for proper medicine.

It's been explained many times that it takes weeks for the immune response to provide protection (often longer in older people), to it is easily possible for people to become infected in this time. Given that there are lots of nursing homes, it is inevitable that some bad outbreaks will arise.

I'm sure it would be easy to find a list of places, where there has been no outbreak after vaccination.

So, Wait for another month at least then look at a broad range of facts (published statistics not random articles).

See if your opinion is valid at that time.

That is very weird. According to that article

"Israel’s health ministry released its first official results last week, showing that only 317 out of 715,425, or 0.04%, of people became infected a week after becoming fully vaccinated against the disease – the time when increased immunity is expected to kick in. Of the vaccinated people who were infected, 16 had to be treated in hospital, or 0.002% of the total."

But your graphs show thousands of people admitted to hospital in the last two weeks. It goes against everything we've been told about how the vulnerable people are the ones filling up ICUs.

What is the source for the graphs?

I can guarantee that the same thing will be happen in the UK.
