Toby claims that comments can be posted and read for each article - I have yet to find how to access that. Maybe it's one of the issues they are still working on. I'm afraid there aren't enough hours in my day to faff about with that.
Also I don't have time to read every article in depth to get to important points. I used to rely on comments on the all-embracing general BTL discussion threads to identify points of interest to me, and to provide useful links.
These two issues combined, I'm afraid I am disappointed to have now lost a useful and comforting forum which helped to reassure me that I am not alone. Judging from comments I have read over the weeks many other LS readers will be of the same mind.

Will compile a list of the forums all the usual suspects are using daily as well as vaccine passport circumvention tips
Haven't used Gab before, have signed up although my confirmation has not arrived in email yet. but when requesting to join the LS group, it asks for the group password which is a bit difficult! Any advice would be appreciated

The GAB group must be so private no one is allowed to join! 🙄
I'm in the same position.
You have to request to join and wait a bit. Looks like I am in now. Its new to me too, just finding my feet after the purge. I would advise the redit group too.

I shall be using this site very much less than formerly with the comments thread now gone and comments dragooned into subject matter. There was a great City Editor of the Sunday Telegraph a few decades ago who coined the simple phrase "improvement means deterioration". The changes to LS are a great demonstration of what became known as Hutber's Law!
