*****HIGH ALERT**

4 March 2022

Dear Resident:

For the forthcoming fortnight commencing 2300 BST tomorrow, the northeast side of your street, which includes your residence, shall be designated a Tier II(b)(3)(A)(iv) zone pursuant to The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19Alert Level) (High) (England) Amended Regulations 2022.

We encourage members of your household to review the Tier II(b)(3)(A)(iv) rules online.

To avoid any risk of confusion, please be reminded that the Tier II(b)(3)(A)(iv) rules are not to be confused with rules under Tiers II(b)(3)(A)(ii)-(iii), II(b)(4)(A)(iv) or III(b)(3)(A)(iv), which apply solely to, respectively, members of the Armed Forces, smallholders involved in the rearing of heritage-breed waterfowl, and Religious Communities.

If members of your household are members of any of Tiers II(b)(3)(A)(ii)-(iii), II(b)(4)(A)(iv), or III(b)(3)(A)(iv), please be reminded that the Tier II(b)(3)(A)(iv) rules shall still apply to you based on the location of your residence. Any household members in Tiers II(b)(3)(A)(ii)-(iii) and/or III(b)(3)(A)(iv) should check Special Exception Table 3.1(h) to reconcile the Tier II(b)(3)(A)(iv) rules with exemptions available under the applicable supplementary Tier(s), and should check Special Obligations Table 3.1(j) to reconsider the Tier II(b)(3)(A)(iv) rules with obligations enforceable under the applicable supplementary Tier(s).

You are further reminded that the General Supplementary Rules (GSR) are applicable to members of any household under Tier II(b)(3)(A)(iv) whose place of dwelling exceeds 20 C in average ambient temperature in any 24 hr period (WC not included). For any question, or to check if your place of dwelling has exceeded 20 C in average ambient temperature in any 24 hr period (WC not included) within the past 2 weeks, you are encouraged to contact your local designated GSR Warden.

Your local designated GSR Warden is Mr Green at number 50.

You may be aware that Mrs Brown at number 41 was removed on 3 March 2021 pursuant to The Protect the NHS Act 2021 , Section V(a). This Section V(a) removal was in furtherance of community preparation for the forthcoming Tier II(b)(3)(A)(iv) designation. Thank you for Protecting the NHS.

You are reminded that, in the interest of public safety and Protecting the NHS, residents of England not designated Coronavirus Information Officers are forbidden to discuss Section V(a) removals. Thank you for your cooperation. Please inform your local designated Coronavirus Information Officer if a member of your household would benefit from an opportunity to discuss a Section V(a) removal.

Your local designated Coronavirus Information Officer is Mrs Brown at number 41.

Thank you.

Send it around as you like!

Oops, the date on which Mrs Brown is said to have been removed should be 3 March 2022, not 2021. Typo!
