A recent mathematical model has suggested that staying at home did not play a dominant role in reducing COVID-19 transmission. The second wave of cases in Europe, in regions that were considered as COVID-19 controlled, may raise some concerns.
That's the problem with models - you can find one for every occasion. Then people cherry pick the one they want to back up their own view.
lockdown has achieved absolutely zero in terms of saving lives, it was a massive over reaction based on flawed scientific modelling.
Indeed. I don't even know how to begin to process what's happened properly.
- A virus that never was all that deadly
- A pandemic preparedness plan just consigned to the trash - with no explanation why it was "wrong" and lockdowns were "right" - or why the "science" had changed so drastically within a couple of months
- Four hundred billion pounds spent - to put this in context, a 10% increase in the entire yearly NHS budget amounts to about 15 billion
- People told to wear face placebos and avoid one another like, erm, the plague
- Fabulously inhumane restrictions on visiting elderly relatives who in the last year or two of their lives have been deprived of all human warmth and contact from their loved ones - in order to "save" them
- Businesses and education decimated, livelihoods destroyed - sacrificed in the pursuit of an illusory "saving" of lives
Jeez - I feel like a broken record - and I could go on and on - but I just get can't my head round the sheer magnitude of the insanity and absurdity.
Ask them, again and again, what have we achieved, how many lives saved?
Neither do I - referencing the headline.
Much as I value and appreciate LS what I struggle with is the way too many on here keep swallowing the line that this is all about poor government when the reality is that Covid 1984 is nothing more than cover for a worldwide transformation taking us into a digital technocracy.
Agenda 21 / 30 are REAL and are being played out daily. The restrictions and crippling of businesses, the wholesale destruction of freedoms, the taking away of legal processes, the zombification of the NHS, the determination to utterly ruin the nation's health by any and all means, the relentless attacks on our children - none of these things are accidental, they are planned.
We are living through the greatest onslaught on Humanity in the history OF the planet and yet even the sceptics on here cannot see this; the sheeple are gone for good and no point bothering with them.
Skepticism is completely past its sell by date. Our "government" has declared war on the people. Indeed this is in reality a World War and to believe otherwise shows a complete failure to understand what is being done to us.
Don't forget, for those of you who get there, in 2030:
"You own nothing and you'll be happy."
Absolutely huxleypiggles..I would love to be wrong as would many but I have never believed this is government and their cronies incompetence...they will do anything and break any rules to achieve their goal..noone in their right mind would carry on this utter destruction if they didnt have an end goal plan with all the rona rubbish as a smokescreen..they know what they are doing and intend to carry on unless they fall first..
