Who really cares what, at this stage?
All the models have predicted a load of utter meaningless crap - that's what we do know.
They could have predicted (and probably have) an alien invasion by tutu-wearing green lizards from the planet Twat and the gormless government would lap it up like the clueless pillocks they seem to be.
Places which did not lockdown, or came out of lockdown, have not seen runaway infections or deaths. Case closed. Let's get those models and their predictions printed on soft absorbent paper and use them, finally, for something useful.
If the number of around 40,000 excess deaths caused by lockdown, alluded to on the main LS page, is correct then lockdown has achieved PRECISELY NOTHING in terms of "saving lives".

thousands of patients facing long-term pain and suffering because of delayed treatments
massive psychological damage to the populace and our way of life

we still lost over 100,000 from/with covid and didn't save a single soul
We achieved no net saving of lives.
And that creature professor Gollum has the gall to cling to his precious models like a man possessed and warn us - as if we've not spent the last 12 months engaging in one of the most colossal public cock-ups in all of history - all because of some useless speculative models that we took on faith and got scared by.
I have no words left to describe my feelings about the nauseating spectacle of the last 12 months. This appalling idiocy has to stop now. We saved nobody. We crucified so many.

It shows how deranged elites become by their segregation and how desperate they are to indulge narcissistic fantasies of their role as saviours that subtends all this.
What I do not understand is why there has not been attention paid to significant philosophical work concerned with the role and function of what used to be called "civic culture" in humanity or of the status, for human beings, of sociality. We are not simply a natural kind but a social kind whose social existence has significant effects or consequences in relation to our development and well-being, this seems to me to have been forgotten. The elite themselves practically understand this, this is why all elite social space is based on class segregation and informal or formal class based racism. But then, one of the beauties of segregation is that no one can point out the contradictions of ways of life or show hypocrisy, professions like academics use this all the time to escape examination of the real nature of their institutional practice.

As l thought this time last year, lockdown has achieved absolutely zero in terms of saving lives, it was a massive over reaction based on flawed scientific modelling.
It has however, cost lives and will continue to cost many many more, caused a colossal financial crisis, been extremely damaging to physical and mental health, inflicted massive societal damage which will ripple through society for decades to come, ripped friends and family relationships apart, and last and most horrific of all has been an abuse of our children, the very same children who ultimately will have to pay for this crime of psuedoscience and politics, both emotionally and financially.
Future generations will look back at this period with incredulity at those in charge, and those who raised no voice against it, sceptics will ultimately be the only people looked back at with any respect, rather like the French Resistance and Maquisards of WW2.
Ultimately here this highlights the low quality of journalists here. Nobody holding him to account.
The second he went on about models they should have been on to him about those models, are they peer reviewed, what assumptions are made, who makes them and importantly, have they been red team tested against competing models.
They just accept whatever the IC lottery machine spits out as gospel.
We badly lack a critical, investigative media here. Time and time again statements come out that need challenging and none comes.
Models are not studies. Models are not data.
We achieved no net saving of lives.
We managed to take a lot more lives as a result of lockdown.
The evidence from the US is clear, lockdowns cause more Covid deaths than if you dont lockdown.
Lockdowns also cause infinite percent more lockdown deaths, of which there are tens of thousands in this country. See todays lockdown sceptics article for an analysis of this.
We must also take into account the quality of life. No point in living if there isnt a decent quality of life. Length of life can be traded for quality of life. We have traded away both length of life and quality of life with lockdowns.
