My wet finger in the air guess is:
25% fully or mostly sceptical
25% soggy bed-wetter irrational masketeers
25% will go back to normal when told to do so because they are sheep
25% would swing sceptical but the barrier to this is not worth the trouble (bed-wetter partner, or it's the path of least resistance, or maybe they do have a health problem (I won't blame them for being cautious).

Interesting stats. True that those with health problems (and their relatives) are more likely to be compliant. In my own real life circles, I think it's about half and half for it and against it. In my online circles, it is probably 80% for it and 20% against it. I haven't convinced anyone either and have stopped trying. The brainwashing seems so complete. My partner was ambivalent but through listening me talk about it so much has seen the light.
