You forgot peak oil 😉
I can only echo the reader's comment about "less educated" youngsters.
In a very busy Wetherspoon's in Bramley in Leeds 3 weeks ago I had a great chat with two young Rugby League professionals who became more and more sceptical as I told them the truth. My son has an MA but is working as a labourer (he loves it) and his mates are 100% sceptical. I'd say in Leeds, about half my friends are sceptics. The Pakistani taxi-drivers I use say that 9 in 10 punters want the driver to be masked.
This is why I will always be happier in a Working Men's Club than a wine-bar. I have a degree, too, by the way, but I've always been a sceptic.
The AIDS scare was a scam.
The Salmonella in Eggs thing was rot.
Mad Cow Disease was another Ferguson canard
Y2K was a total scam
WMD in Iraq was another fat lie
Climate change has been totally exaggerated
Racism is NOT original sin
I generally get the opposite reaction nowadays. I was a sceptic from the start, before the lockdown started. I was vilified for certain posts back in the day but now nearly all my friends are vehement sceptics, or believe it has been a massive disproportionate overreaction. The other thing is people I speak to whilst out and about. Again, although maybe not as far as me, but most people seem to believe the lockdown was a bad idea and we have gone too far. Maybe because this City hasn't been hit by the virus in any meaningful way, but that seems to be common. Then there are the more lefty facebook friends, many of whom seem to be still clinging onto a certain amount of bedwetting. I certainly feel the tide is turning though. Face nappies after the seasonal virus has essentially gone away was the final straw for many.

This survey suggest there's not that many of us:
https://www.kcl.ac.uk/news/how-the-uk-would-be-prepared-to-live-if-covid-vaccine-cant-be-found
If a vaccine was not possible -
"87% say they’d accept local lockdowns being imposed long-term, and virtually the same proportion – 85% – say they’d accept their own local area being subject to these kinds of restrictions."
Unfortunately, only 7% think this is "unacceptable" of which only 2% think "completely unacceptable" from the report (presumably some "don't knows", not my bad maths). So that looks like the answer, 7% of people.
I've tried to start a new thread about this.
How ever many sceptics there are today, next week there will be many more. The important thing is that people who just rely on MSM are shown the counter narrative being put forward by eminant, qualified doctors and scientists, unfortunately much of which isn't given platform on the mainstream.
When i share my scepticism amoungst friends, some argue strongly against me refuting facts and logic, but many remain silent, i think they're on the fence and smell something not quite right. This is why its so important to say what we think now and not sometime in the future when its too late.
