Hello all, I just joined here. I ran into some personal difficulties around the start of the lockdown so wasn't able to contribute to the conversation unfortunately, but have been quietly listening to the sterling work of all the lockdown sceptics. I am finally now re-emerging with my first article, and I plan to be writing at least one article a week from now on:
How I Became A Lockdown Sceptic
One important point I make here (that may have been overlooked) is about the UN projection, I think this projection is probably based at least partly on the fact that we have an aging population.
I strongly suspect the government will attempt to bring in another lockdown as soon as the weather starts to get colder again, the excess deaths will start to occur as they always do (in spite of the vaccines) and there will be talk of new variants as well as growing pressure on the unvaccinated. There are many reasons to keep talking about the lockdown.
Welcome to the club. I smelt a rat quite early on, and have found this site somewhat refreshing and reassuring overall. Hopefully it will carry on as long as it’s useful for many of us.
