It took me weeks to leave another site of which I had been a member for almost 15 years but from which I felt increasingly alienated, on this very subject. The mods were clearly part-time.

You could just stop posting? (I'd be very sorry to see you go - allies are needed)
If you believe a soddit moment has arrived, no doubt you have explored the menu for moderators/members and sought your removal. If you are being pestered by PM, publish the offending message and shame the perp.

Not sure what the issue was, but anyway I've deleted her account as per her request.

She probably felt that she was getting sucked into a nihilistic way of thinking and it was affecting her.

It’s all very well being sceptical and I am very much but life continues and obsessing over it isn’t healthy.

This sucks. I got on well with Sussex. I though they were a fella though. I'll miss them, anyway. 😳
