I'm trying to challenge someone on facebook and they have brought up this:
https://ourworldindata.org/covid-health-economy
"But among countries with available GDP data, we do not see any evidence of a trade-off between protecting people’s health and protecting the economy. Rather the relationship we see between the health and economic impacts of the pandemic goes in the opposite direction. As well as saving lives, countries controlling the outbreak effectively may have adopted the best economic strategy too."
Any hard evidence to the contrary?

Anyone have any head evidence to the contrary? I am losing the battle!

Inasmuch as economies have a dependence on international trade, the pandemic will affect all countries equally. For example, Sweden's economy has also suffered due to this and they have managed their population's health in an exemplary manner.

Other than cafés, another place to 'drop' leaflets and info is on public transport. I normally walk around the city but, having walked over 40 miles this week, I took the bus home and dropped a couple of leaflets as I got off. Unlike cafés, buses are not cleaned after users have gone. Someone will pick them up.
"Every little helps"
(hmm, that sounds like the PCR motto with cycles and virus fragments)
