Greetings. 🙂
This years has left many of us a little testy 😉 but with all of the pandamonium have we overlooked research like this
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jmv.26667 which looks into the impact CovS2 has on male virility?
I have little if any knowledge in this research area to know how serious this should be taken by parents of teenager boys etc so It might be worth quickly having a look at the conclusion at the bottom to see if you think it merits a full read.
Whilst it is quite a serious topic the research authors improbable name alone is worth giving it a glance if you are as immature as me ;).
Does anybody frequent the twitterverse where people like Mike Yeadon or the types of expert guests Anna Brees often has on her bitchute channel might be able to comment on this matter? I dont want to overemphasize this aspect of the c19 debate as being anything other than provisional because the sample sizes are small (no pun intended) its not clear to me the effects are permenant and it has potential implications for any herd immunity strategy (whether that strategy has been pursued with public honestly or not) that could be used irresponsibly.
In as much as it sugguests a means of reducing harm, alleviating stress and inflammation and coolness seem minor helps if Im reading it right so a spliff and an outbreak of kilt wearing possibly 😉 . Maybe take the frozen Turkey out early and rest it in your trouserless lap just make sure you havent forgotten to end your work meeting zoom call 1st 😆
What are your thoughts on the study/ this topic?
I reckon we will find out in approx 9 months time. 🙂
Bit of a technical-looking read so will look more closely later when the brain starts working. It may be that the author has undertaken similar studies on those convalescing from other viruses, but certainly, Covid is being forensically examined like few other things; a bit like Offence Archaeology, people are looking for the 'dirt' on this thing to keep up fear levels.
Thanks for your reply :).
😆 I thought something similar with regards to 9 months time, not for the 1st time I find myself scrambling to a swedish to english translator to see how things are developing there.
Certainly the Chuan Huang Xiren Ji research https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/andr.12907 seems to be largely speculative based on other coronaviruses and sars but it is peppered with some cited Cov19 evidence eg in section 2.1 autopsies of 12 people who had covid19 showed dramatic reduction in leydig cells (I quote as if I would know a leydig cell or my epididymis from my elbow ;). Presumably this is the same 12 from a a Yang et al study cited under section 6.1 "structural and functional changes in the testis" in the 1st link. The Chuan Huang paper in this post also cites Pan et al claiming orchitis (only a small number mentioned).
Are these things from acute cases only?, are the effects permenant? avoidable with med intervention? switch on the bat signal to call in some principled boffins who can answer.
Thank you also for inferring what I was getting at with the potential for this to be misused as the other part of a pincer to potentially make people rethink the danger of the virus (or lack thereof if they are younger).
On the other hand for some fathers who have been cooped up with multiple rambumpcious kids for months this year it may have them hopefully rummaging through public bins to see if they can find a coughed on hanky they can sniff at 😆 .
Part of the concern comes from the non elected figures and agendas in the background. Wouldnt it just be typical if even as we were collectively wishing they would get the sack, "getting the sack" is exactly what they had been doing. (Im sorry I promise thats the last bad balls pun I will make ;).. unless I think of some more ;).
Thanks for your reply :).

We need to shine the bat signal but for principled boffins into the night sky 😉 I have included these citations in case it makes it easier to dip into the links.
