Done - thanks for posting this, I wasn't aware of it - definitely agree - well done flagging it.
I'm a member of Majestic Gym Bournemouth - the best - and have flagged the petition for posting on Instagram to gym members / followers to hopefully increase number of signatories.
NB No member has reported having any covid symptoms pre or post lockdown - all agree they're markedly healthier when gyming! (Robust covid regimen is in place / entry strictly limited to members with no temporary memberships - least likely place in Bournemouth to catch a dose of covid!)
I'm surprised there hasn't been a 'feature' on the daily bulletin re the futility / counter-productivity etc of closing gyms as gyming does so much to increase / improve health and natural immunity including resistance to coronaviruses, be they flu or covid.

savvy myself (probably a good thing right now.)
However I work as a Clinical Massage Therapist in Leicester, so have first hand
knowledge of how Lockdowns, (been in one since 29th June here) devastate the
local economy, but have no effect at all on the case numbers that the government seem so overly obsessed with. The gym downstairs from us has already permanently closed.

I just read this morning that gymns in liverpool allowed to stay open in tier 3 ..looks like this petition worked ( i like to think so anyway) .
There should be more of these petitions.

Yes a small victory in a world of current heavy losses for us sceptics. Great to see gyms in tier 3 allowed to reopen. Just hope they can get enough custom to make it viable for them. A big thank you to all those who responded to my original post on this subject and signed the petition.
