Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me what is "law" in Northern Ireland and what is merely guidance with reference to the over reaction against SARS-COV-2?
This would be very useful to know considering the new Lockdown...

Keep checking that in case they update it in the next few days.
I flew over last week for a funeral. Getting on the plane without a mask was an adventure, and the Aer Lingus gate staff couldn't understand why I couldn't just put mine on for a few minutes. The fact I didn't have one was greeted with incredulity. Cabin staff were fine. My impression was that folks in NI are much more serious about following the restrictions than people round here (Yorkshire). NI was still in lockdown when I arived and it was being strictly enforced even though everyone knew it was ending in a few hours. Most people masked in the open air, too, and everybody being extremely "safe". Pretty depressing all round and with the reduction in flights it meant being stuck in a hotel room across most of three days . Profoundly depressing, and the strangest funeral I've ever been to.
