As I've mentioned before I download and graph a number of Government stats for myself. I saw over 1,000 deaths reported yet the stats I've downloaded don't support that so I took a direct look at https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/deaths where I see
Deaths within 28 days of positive test
Daily 1,162
Yet the supporting data on the same page which they use for their own graph simply doesn't support that. Are these published figures plucked out of the air or are they constantly updating their published stats? Certainly my download script add new days and updates existing values so I won't miss out on changes.
