The world seems to have gone mad. You may find it difficult to talk to friends, family or work colleagues because they do not agree with your point of view. Sometimes you may feel powerless and depressed due to the way things are unfolding.

This is where writing steps in! We encourage you to compose a poem or short story – fiction or reality.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, a pro, or anything in between, simply grab a pen and paper (or your keyboard) and write your heart out. Take a few days to rewrite and edit your work until you are pleased, and send it to us. We hope to have a collection of poems and short stories that we will put together into a book.

Participants will receive a free copy of the book as a prize for their work.
