I’m sure this is very obvious to all you discerning followers of the coronavirus fiasco. However, there are still many people out there who think that they are required by law to wear a face mask. They’re not. If you’re forced to do something against your will it will invariably cause you anxiety and therefore you will be exempt. Excellent thank you.

Thanks for the feedback 😀
Today I had to go for a blood test in Wigan.
Entered Medical Centre reception - asked by the receptionist to put on a face mask.
"Sorry" I said - "I don't wear a face mask." Are you exempt? "Yes" I said. Why? "Because I'm exempt." OK, she said. She points an temperature infra-red gun at my head. "Don't do that" I said - "use my wrist." We can't do that. "Why?" I asked, "my wrist is the same temperature as my head". Wait here - I'll ask the Sister. Sister comes over - "we can take your temperature in your ear." "No" I said, "that's still my head, use my wrist". I stated that I'm not causing a problem and that I'm prepared to leave if there's an issue. The Sister takes my temperature from my wrist.
Into the cubicle - another nurse asks me to put on a face mask. "No, I don't wear a face mask" - but I hold the mask over my face with my hand. "Put the strings behind your ears." she says. "No, I'll hold it with my hand. If it's a problem, I'll leave now." She leaves the cubicle, phones Security and talks to a senior nurse. The senior nurse comes into the cubicle - asks me to put on a face mask. "No, I don't wear a face mask" - but I hold the mask over my face with my hand. "Put the strings behind your ears." she says. "No, I'll hold it with my hand. If it's a problem, I'll leave now." "No", she says, "but look the other way." She takes my blood. Then goes into the next cubicle and washes!
My blood sample will probably be mislaid!
I admire your front Sir! I must admit NHS buildings are the only places I will consent to wearing the face nappy. I figure if I can suffer the indignity of a doctor putting his finger up my arse then I may as well leave my pride at the door! Call me a coward but anyone I may have to entrust my life to can count on me to play along with all their ill-thought-out beliefs and prejudices.
