Thanks.
I understand all that I am just questioning if he even had a placebo.he died of covid complications.given that most healthy 28 year olds sho no signs or symptoms even when testing positive ( I use that loosely) and was in a low risk group I questioned the whole thing as it seems odd to me.
Anyway I also have total respect for the gentleman concerned.
I think I may have been misunderstood where I was coming from but thank you everyone for your replies.

When I first became aware of this story, the reports in the press (which probably all came from the same source) were saying the "placebo" arm of the trial was using an existing licensed meningitis vaccine.
