We need to rise up as nation against this tyranny. More and more people are realising something is very wrong here.

It is 1h40 long, subtitled and a bit long-winded but, near the end, they discuss the population coming together via the internet. If they remain united, they can overturn the ultra-rich few that seem to be controlling events.

Everyone in London should dump their turkeys at the gates of Downing street.

Not only is this a terrible move for national morale, trust in Government and general sanity. It's also a bad move politically. Skeptics will hate him more, and everyone who thinks it's a good idea will say it's too late and he should have done it earlier.

Of course scientifically it doesn't make any sense. How can you say a new strain that was discovered last week is spreading faster than others. If they only just started testing for it, there's no way to know how far or how fast it spread before that.
Maybe there is, but all the news is focusing on the new rules, rather than explaining this seemingly obvious flaw.
As always the government has decided to have a secret SAGE meeting and "Trust the science" rather than actually publish it and allow any kind of intelligent debate.

But isn't the "new strain" narrative contradicting the vaccine success story?? Provided the vaccine is working - how is it going to work for the new strain??

To be honest I wouldn't care quite so much that Christmas is cancelled. However, the last minute nature of the decision really smacks of a complete lack of strategy and planning. For me that is the most concerning thing.

If this is the outcome of following "the science" all year I think we need a better approach. Absolute shambles!

Instead of mince pies, we just got more lies. A new more highly contagious variant, utter utter bullshit from begining to end.
This is all societal charge being implemented under the guise of a public health crisis, but sadly l fear the sheep will still not wake up. I was literally shaking with rage earlier, and normally l am a very calm and measured person.
