What a relief to see Chris Green MP speaking on Talk Radio this morning. He is one of the 16 who voted against the latest lockdown measures. Hopefully there will be a link on the TR or TR highlights YT site later.
We need more Chris Greens (and indeed Desmond Swaynes) in Parliament. Intelligent MPs with analytical and questioning minds. How much pressure can he and others of similar mind can put on the ideologues in the cabinet? Not much, but if he is prepared to keep speaking out then at least we will have a clear voice of reason in trying to get us out of the aimless cycle of lockdown and restrictions.
Conversely, when you hear what comes out of Sir Kier Starmer's mouth on GMB you hear the voice of censorship and authoritarianism. All you need to know about the Labour party thesedays.
