Thanks, but it's none of that cubby Boris just wants us to think he thinks the BIG ONE is looming, since it makes his activity look rational. He's using a Goebbels BIG LIE that the BIG ONE is looming just to cover up his own rank stupidity, and he's pulled Matt Hancock into it! Relax there are no asteroids coming in or anything like that. Boris is just fooling around, the bonehead. I've figured it all out, it was something that Dom Cummings said on his Blog that gave them away. I'm going to write a short stoty about it. The clue in Dom Cumming's blog was obvious, but I realised if the BIG ONE was on his mind, and when you combine that with the BIG LIE , and the idea to "never let a good crisis go to waste", the answers pops out. This coverup of the gross overreaction using aBIG LIE is typical of Dom Cummings .

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.

Boris going will not make a difference. There is no MP in the UK parliament who would do any thing different.

Boris is in fact the one you would have chosen if someone could have warned you two years ago this was coming.

The champion of freedom of expression, such a champion he was regularly criticized as racist, anti-gay etc. There's no way this guy would implement a complex web of lies to the public, and largely silence internet and television dissent.

The man who argued passionately that we couldn't stay in the EU and be ruled by "Un-elected Bureaucrats." That self determination was the right of the British people. This guy is going to lock everyone in their homes because some scientist told him to.

The man who won over swathes of the North and working class to the Tories for the first time. Well he's going to destroy the service, leisure and entertainment sector. Working class people will be hardest hit, and the toughest new laws will be in the North.

He was The Spectator editor, the exact same job as Toby.

The irony couldn't be greater.

If he can't stand up to lockdowns then no one in mainstream parties can help us.

I think the best idea is a new party called the "Open Party" or some such. Not just for the fact we need to open everything. NOW. But also that government meetings, sage advisory, MI6 advice on whatever was going on in that lab in Wuhan. The full results of the vaccine trial. All of that should be public. Why should anything like that be kept secret? (Unless it's an MI6 agents identity who infiltrated the lab, but not the general terms of the advice.)

And these principles should apply to all areas of government when there isn't an actual ongoing threat. (Military, terrorists, spies). What is the advice on why cannabis is kept illegal? How much tax revenue could it generate? Government should make all data on all subjects available.

Since we live in an age of mass data manipulation, fake news, accusations of fake news, outright lies and flagrant nonsense from both sides of every argument. It is the duty of the Government to be as open as possible to maintain the trust of the people.

TLDR:

Replacing Boris won't do jack. Brexit showed what a single issue party can do, but we need a totally new one dedicated to openness of information. AND OPENING THE DAMN COUNTRY.
