I have been trying to respond to your message about the Surrey group but my messages are going nowhere - they seem to get stuck in my outbox but don't appear in 'Sent items'. Feel free to get in touch via kbf.surrey@protonmail.com since we're getting nowhere fast here.

So far as I can tell, all messages stay in "Outbox" until they are collected by the recipient. But when the recipient next logs on, they will get a notification that there is a message waiting for them - I think the envelope which symbolizes their mailbox gets a red mark.

Thanks for the explanation, though it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. How can something be received before it has been sent???
