A whole industry, political and economic, has now been constructed, around maintaining this panic and their over-arching message is that this was all correct and justified from the start and none of the measures taken were disproportionate or in any way exaggerated.
The cost of these measures - in lives and livelihoods - will soon start to emerge even more forcefully, and that covid-industry will dig in even deeper and harder.

We must resist. Spouting data and facts does not work. I have advocated - and I practice - non-compliance. I ignore the restrictions. But we must also fight back:
I repeat the call I made earlier: I am working with a group of lawyers in the UK who are ready to launch an action against compulsory face masks. We need a claimant. Someone who is resident in the UK and has been forced to buy and wear a face mask. The case will be fully funded and no financial risk to the claimant, but a thick skin is required to deal with the inevitable flak.

Presumably you won't get anyone in the public services, civil service. Are you looking at a potential claim for harm/damage caused by being forced to wear a mask as the basis for the challenge, or a more general challenge?
My earlier post has been almost entirely reflected in the "Health" Minister's proclamations today, reported in the papers (shifting responsibility to the population, mass testing to continue beyond vaccination, vaccination to be ultimately required by all not just vulnerable groups etc etc).
One can only assume that:
1. there is a govt shill here reporting suppositions on this forum here as, quite amazingly, bases for policy; or
2. less likely (much) I have such a logical mind that I can predict with unerring accuracy how to read the space between the govt's lines.
If 1 is the case, perhaps they'd like to pay me for my efforts. I can assure you I would be making commensurate donations to charities supporting people affected by the lockdown.

I'm more worried about what it between their ears than what they actually say. I don't think it fits with my idea of the type of society I want to live in.
