We still don't know if vaccinations make people less infectious, so I'm not sure if it would help to keep unvaccinated people out of a restaurant or whatever. The vaccinated people could still be spreading. Of course, whether or not the politicians can follow this level of complexity is another question...

There's no data *yet*.
They might end up reducing transmission in which case they could use the "safety" argument.
If they dont end up doing it, its a non-starter as the only person affected is the non-vaccinated if they catch it.
