Dear *******,

I see that you are being given another opportunity tomorrow to rubber stamp the decision the government has already made by decree, in a sham of democracy.

I realise it is futile to ask you to consider exercising your own freedom of thought in this matter, but I just want to put it on record that as your constituent, I wish you to vote against this latest tranche of damage and destruction inflicted upon the public.

I will not forget.

I will not forgive.

Do not forget your own job is on the line: politicians who collude in the destruction of people's lives and livelihoods can expect the same in return.

Mine replies in platitudes and BS. I don't really expect to get anything: I just follow Peter Hitchens' advice: the only thing that gets through to MPs is the threat of not getting re-elected. I even once told my MP that although I despise the LibDems, I would vote for them if I thought they had a chance of defeating her.

I totally agree. I always protest vote. I am really praying one of the alternatives to labour and conservative get their act together as this is a golden opportunity for them now. I'm sick of the two party choice. I'm sick of them, they both actually make me feel physically nauseated. I don't know if I could ever bring myself to vote Libdem tho!! But maybe I'll have to!
