I recently challenged someone on LinkedIn to back up there assertion that big oil and gas are heavily subsidised with the relevant data. What I received was a link to this document published by the IMF "https://www.imf.org/en/Topics/climate-change/energy-subsidies". As a piece of work it is appalling. Full of inaccuracies and unsubstantiated assertions. It's also very short. As if it has been run off quickly to enable climate change warriors to assert that big oil is subsidised and here look the IMF says so, while hoping no one digs any deeper. Chris ought to give it a read or if he hasn't time I would happily do a critique of it if I had an email address to mail it into. Anyway next time someone climbs big oil is subsidised tell them bo its not, at least not until Truss agreed to pay all your gas bills because net zero has left us all in the cold.

Big Oil Coal and Gas is Evil, but Big Wind and Sun is all sweetness and Light. But I like the funny one where we hear "Wind is now cheaper than coal". But hey that's what happens when you give wind a 100% subsidy and force energy companies to use it or ELSE in the giant eco-socialist picking of winners and losers scam.
